When we started Gal Meets Glam Collection, we initially planned to only offer dresses. As the brand evolved over the last year and we soaked in feedback from our customers, though, we slowly and intentionally began to branch out into other types of clothing. Although our pieces may not be all dresses anymore, every garment shares a few core characteristics: they are effortless to style, they fit our classic and feminine aesthetic, and they are pieces I truly believe women will want to wear for years to come. When it comes to the first characteristic, nothing fits the bill better than dresses and jumpsuits, which is why I continue to be thrilled we added the latter category to our offerings. After dresses, jumpsuits have officially become the most-worn pieces in my closet.

I put the versatility of our new Magnolia jumpsuit to the test recently, wearing it from our office, to the beach for a post-work stroll, to dinner in downtown Charleston. I’m sure many of you can relate when I say that none of my days look exactly the same! For that very reason, I love having an easy outfit on hand that makes me feel polished and comfortable, no matter where I’m going. The pattern is what makes this jumpsuit such a winner to me—the beige background and blue floral of the fabric (a breathable linen blend) has a beautiful, vintage-inspired feel, but still looks neutral enough to fit into most settings. If you work in a more traditional office, consider adding our Iris Sweater in Navy on top of the jumpsuit (just untie the loops of the bows on the straps to create a smoother base). For chilly evenings, a denim jacket like this one makes a classic finishing touch.

After a little bit of a travel break, I’m starting to prepare for a few trips we have coming up in May and June. Especially since we love keeping our itineraries as flexible as possible when traveling, all of our versatile spring jumpsuits like this one, as well as the Jordan, Rue, Billie, Stephanie, and Iris, are at the top of my packing lists.

P.S. A note on sizing for any fellow pregnant ladies: I’ve been wearing my normal size so far in our jumpsuits if they have a smocked or adjustable back, and going up a size if they don’t. We share a back view of every piece on our e-commerce site, so be sure to take a look at that if you’re hoping to make your favorites work for maternity wear!
