On our second to last evening in Mallorca, Thomas and I decided to venture out from the hotel and did a sunset sail from Port de Sóller. We really wanted to see Mallorca from the water and while at first we wanted to do a half day trip, we thought it was probably best to make it shorter with the two hour sunset version. Port de Sóller is a charming port village located not too far from Deià and is a wonderful place to add to your list if you’re visiting the area. The views of the village from the sea almost reminded Thomas and I of a mini Amalfi Coast, as they’re built into the cliffside within the port, surrounded by boats.

One of my favorite dresses from the June Collection is the Alisa dress, which was on pre-order at launch last week but is now available! This is one of my favorite prints we’ve done and the red, white and blue palette makes it perfect for upcoming Fourth of July. We placed this print on cotton poplin and designed a classic maxi shirtdress for an easy summertime look. I love a long cotton shirtdress and I typically open up the bottom buttons to just above my knee on a hot summer day. We also took this print and designed it into our Mila two piece, a cropped top with a midi skirt.

With sunset around 9pm, we headed out from the port around 7 and sailed along the coast of Mallorca, with beautiful views of the cliffside and small villages perched up top. We got lucky and had a beautifully clear sunset view, with the sunset slowly disappearing into the sea in the distance. Getting water views when traveling is one of our favorite activities to do and whenever it’s a possible option, we jump at the chance.

The Alisa dress was the perfect piece to bring to Spain and to wearing sailing (the longer the length, the better for a boat!). You might remember our Danielle maxi shirtdress that was made from the same cotton poplin- it’s essentially the same silhouette with just the color removed and an added print. We also just launched our white cotton two piece, the India set, which has my favorite skirt that I’ve been wearing non stop!
