Cozied Up in GMGC Sweaters

Outfit Details:
Gal Meets Glam Collection Mariah Dress

With every launch, we spend a lot of time dreaming about what our customers will want to wear during that month. As soon as the temperatures drop, I eagerly pull my favorite sweaters out of my closet, embracing any excuse to cozy up in them throughout the season. I’m sure many of you can say the same! Stepping into the crisp morning air while wrapped up in a luxuriously soft fabric might be one of my favorite feelings in the world, so I knew I wanted to create that same feeling for all of you through Gal Meets Glam Collection sweaters this fall. From classic cardigans to chic dresses, all of our new sweater styles ensure that you never have to choose between elegance and comfort. We also tried our hand at a few more unique versions of sweaters, like coordinating top and skirt sets for an effortlessly polished, but still cozy, look. Read on to see the ways a few of the women on our team have been wearing GMGC sweaters so far this season!

Mariah Dress

“The Mariah sweater dress is one of those classic, easy-to-pair pieces that I know I’ll be reaching for all fall and winter long. Its easy body, mock neck, and long sleeves make it the perfect choice for feeling cozy while still looking chic. I wore it to my favorite Charleston coffee shop, Harbinger Cafe, with a pair of tall boots“.

Renee Sweater and Skirt

“I wore the Renee sweater and skirt for a beach picnic on Sullivan’s Island with my dog and boyfriend. It was the perfect outfit for this transitional time of year–the knit material kept me warm as the sun went down, but since it’s still quite warm in Charleston, the short sleeves kept me comfortable. It will be easy to layer this set under a jacket or coat as the temperatures drop, so I know I’ll be wearing it all throughout the season!”

Ashley Sweater and Skirt

“To say the Ashley sweater set is 3-4 outfits in one is not only spot-on, but also great news for the fall wardrobe budget. I’m wearing the Ashley sweater and skirt together in these photos, but you can easily mix and match them with other pieces in your closet. The high-waisted skirt creates a slimming silhouette and pairs nicely with a crisp white button-down blouse or a long-sleeve tee. Its counterpart, the Ashley sweater is so cozy and can be layered over a dress or a tee and jeans. I wore the set with a pair of easy suede flats. Needless to say, this set will take your wardrobe far this fall”.
