With two big launches plus a trip to New York this month, our office has been buzzing with excitement! Schedules have been packed and to-do lists have been full, but we are all so passionate about Gal Meets Glam Collection, we wake up each day truly grateful to do work that we love. That passion carries right into our wardrobes—as you may have noticed on the Daily Looks page, rarely a day goes by when at least one of us isn’t wearing a piece from the Collection. Especially now that coats and shoes are available alongside our staple dresses, jumpsuits, and sweaters, it has never been easier to reach for Gal Meets Glam Collection daily. Read on for a few of our team’s favorite pieces from the October Collection!
When we shot our coat collection back in July, I was instantly drawn to the Emilia, thanks to its timeless peacoat silhouette and beautiful details. From the soft blush color, to the polished buttons, to the ruffle details on the cuffs and pockets, it fits my feminine style perfectly. I paired it with a navy corduroy skirt, a white cashmere sweater, and my Margaux for Gal Meets Glam Collection Pointe flats, which I’ve been wearing with everything lately!
There’s nothing more classic than a plaid coat with toggles. I decided to give the feminine pink and pale blue of the Annelise coat a casual, menswear-inspired twist by pairing it with a crisp white blouse, boyfriend jeans, and Stan Smith sneakers (I like them in men’s size 7).
Wrap dresses strike just the right balance between comfort and effortless elegance, so they’re some of my favorite pieces to wear. This month, I gravitated toward our Jennifer dress in its new emerald colorway. The color nods to the upcoming holidays (we’ve been knee-deep in holiday season prep in the office lately, after all!), while still feeling perfectly appropriate for fall. I wore it with woven slides for work, but can’t wait to dress it up with heels and statement jewelry for special occasions this season.
My favorite style from the October Collection is the Mariah dress, paired here with the Hadley coat in black and my Margaux for Gal Meets Glam Collection suede Boots. The Hadley coat is going to be a fall/winter staple for me, as it’s classic enough to go with everything in my closet. I was initially drawn to the dusty blush color of the Mariah sweater dress, but also love the subtle ruched shoulder details and tapered skirt hem that make this piece distinctly Gal Meets Glam.
I couldn’t resist the classic appeal of the Hadley coat in oatmeal! Both the timeless silhouette and neutral color perfectly complement any outfit; I won’t be surprised if I end up reaching for it daily during the colder months ahead. I paired it with jeans and brown leather mules for a comfortable, but still polished, workday look.
I’ve been looking for a beautiful jacket that I could dress up or down and wear for years to come. When I saw the Annika jacket’s tweed fabric and classic fit, I knew it was the one. I paired it with an eyelet top from Zara (old), my favorite pair of dark wash Flying Monkey Denim jeans, and my go-to Steve Madden block heel sandals. I can’t wait to style this jacket in all different ways this fall.
