White blouses are a staple of my wardrobe all year round, but especially in the spring when I’m craving all things light, airy, and whimsical. Whether I’m looking for the perfect counterpart to a dreamy skirt, my favorite pair of blue jeans, or crisp white pants, a refined white top makes any outfit feel fresh and effortless.

Lightweight Gauze Top

The lightweight gauze material makes this blouse cool enough for warm spring temperatures. Wear it with a pair of lightwash jeans and sandals, or tucked into a skirt with a pair of heeled mules.

Linen Peplum Top

I love the beautiful detailed bodice and bow straps on this statement top, which still remains neutral in a simple shade of white. It easily pairs with pink denim, a straw bag, and a pair of heeled strappy sandals for an evening out.

This cotton short-sleeved blouse is the type of style I find myself reaching for all spring to wear with my favorite denim or a fun pair of textured shorts. This blouse is a definite spring staple that can also be dressed-up with a feminine midi skirt, statement earrings,  and heeled slides.

I’m always keeping an eye out for white blouses with special details that make even the simplest outfit combinations feel put-together. Some of my favorite pieces feature delicate embroidery, lace, and eyelet, since these feminine touches instantly elevate any style when done well. I’ve had some of my favorite detailed white tops for years, but never grow tired of reaching for them when the weather warms up (as evidenced here and here). I can also rarely resist a statement silhouette, since the otherwise-classic feel of white keeps the look balanced and not too over-the-top.
