Of all the rooms in our house, the kitchen is the room we use most often used, which means it demands the most attention when it comes to finding space for storing items. When we remodeled our home, we wanted the kitchen to feel open and unencumbered. We didn’t want to have a traditional pantry so we added wooden drawer liners, floating shelves, and hidden cabinets to store our dried goods and kitchenware. Needless to say, we have adapted to this style of organization, adding kitchen storage items on the counters, cabinets and in drawers to help mitigate clutter and create a sense of order. The results are decorative, fun, and functional. I’m sharing some of these creative options for those of you who love to display your items in a beautiful way as we do.
