We are spending this Memorial Day quietly at home, just relaxing and enjoying time as a family. We want to thank those who serve and have served so selflessly to bring safety and stability to our country. As I lounge at home, work from our kitchen or guest bedroom, picnic in the garden, relax on the porch, or walk around the neighborhood with Thomas and Clementine, you’ll most likely find me in a pair of comfy loafers or mules. A peek through my Daily Looks quickly reveals that loafers and mules have been my shoe of choice time and time again. Neutral styles are my usual go-to (especially these Birdies loafers and these Malone Souliers loafers), but I also love adding a fun color or pattern combination every now and then to switch things up. I’ve rounded up a collection of my favorites, both neutral and bold, below, many which are on sale to celebrate this special day.

Raffia Mules

The tan color of these raffia mules makes them easy to pair with anything, like this breezy blue dress or this buttercup yellow maxi. The woven texture puts a summery spin on any outfit.

Ballerina Mule

These mules–Mansur Gavriel’s updated take on a classic ballerina flat–are as effortless as they are beautiful. Slip into them to add a pop of color to a Victorian-inspired white dress.

Comfortable Loafers

These neutral loafers transcend seasons, looking elegant all year-round. To create a classic everyday look, pair them with straight-leg denim and a white button-down.
