Denim blue is a classic that compliments nearly all other colors, which is probably why denim jeans have maintained their popularity for so long. I’m drawn to denim blue tops, sweaters, dresses, bags and shoes in all different shades. If you think about it, denim blue is really the new “black” in terms of versatility and wearability. A denim blue shirt, jacket, dress and skirt are now standard closet staples that transcend beyond just one season. I wear my denim blue skirts all the time – in the summer with a simple short sleeved top, in the fall with a sweater, in the winter with tights, and in the spring with a trench. I throw my denim blue jacket in my suitcase almost every time I travel. And many times I’ll layer a denim blue shirt over a tank or tee like a light cardigan, or under a pull-over sweater or sweatshirt. Wearing denim blue is easy to pair, looks great on anyone, and is probably one of the most comforting colors in my wardrobe.
