It’s no secret that I’ll choose a dress over jeans any day, but I must admit, I have a soft spot for the all-American look of denim and chambray. Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to wear denim this summer that can still look dressed up, especially when paired with feminine shoes and accessories. It would be easy to elevate this flutter-sleeve top, versatile mini skirt, cropped jeans, or bow-adorned jumpsuit with pieces like a floral scarf, lace-up espadrille wedges, or vintage-inspired sunglasses, for example. I’ve even included two chambray dresses in the Gal Meets Glam Collection (Quinn and Riley) so far, and I’m sure they won’t be the last! Of course, denim is also the perfect option for long summer days lounging by the lake or wandering through the farmer’s market – a lightweight romper, casual shorts, or darling overalls strike the perfect balance between charming and effortless. I’ve linked plenty of classic denim here for every summer occasion!
