Each Fall season, I go in search of the perfect cream sweater. One that’s fitted but still leaves room for layers and has small details that make it unique, making me want to wear it every single day. I have an addiction to cream sweaters, you see. I love them. I have way more than I need, but I somehow always find another reason for a new one. “Oh, but this one has buttons!”, “I don’t have a chunky knit version!” or “But this one is just too good to miss!”. They get me every time. But to be honest, I wear them all year long, even in spring and summer as a great light layer to carry around.
I was excited for some sweater weather when we were in Quebec City the weekend before last. It was just the time to bring out this Rebecca Taylor sweater I found (filed under: another perfect cream sweater). It also comes in a black and blush stripe, which you would think I would be all over, but I’m telling you, the cream sweaters get me! It’s definitely a more fitted style, but still leaves room for a button down underneath, like this J.Crew one I’m wearing.
These green pants are another item I’ve found myself wearing over and over again. And this is coming from a dress lover! I last wore them in this post, proving that they’re just as comfortable to lounge around the house in as they are to wear outdoors. I’m wearing them here with my Madewell loafers and favorite bag for Fall and already have them packed in my bag for London and Scotland next week!
