We got so lucky with the weather and long days filled with beautiful light that we ended up getting ahead of schedule for our August Gal Meets Glam Collection shoot and had our last day mostly free (we just had one more dress we wanted to shoot at golden hour in the evening). I really wanted to spend time looking at art and some home things, but because it was Sunday, most shops were closed. So instead, we headed out to Saint Germain and decided to just wander with our cameras in hand.

We started with brunch at the famous Les Deux Magots in Saint Germain. We always go to either Cafe Le Bonaparte, Brasserie Lipp or Cafe de Flore, which are all nearby, but have had this spot on our list to try out. We cozied up at a table on their terrace, perfect for some great Sunday people watching and leisurely omelet brunch.

We spent most of the day wandering around Saint Germain, one of my favorite neighborhoods in Paris and ending up near the Marais. I love getting lost in Paris. It’s best to just discover things as you go, that’s when my favorite moments happen or we find something we otherwise would have missed. We walk for hours and hours- I think we averaged over six miles a day.

Paris will always be one of my favorite cities and I’m always looking forward to a trip back. We last visited for my birthday (you can see those posts here and here) and I know we’ll have many more in our future. It’s a place I’m constantly inspired by and will never get tired of traveling to!
