Pastel Styles to Wear This Winter

Outfit Details:
LoveShackFancy Sweater, DL1961 Jeans, Pink Headband (similar here)

Thank you to Nordstrom and ShopStyle for sponsoring this post.

One of my favorite things about living in Charleston is being surrounded by my favorite soft colors around every corner. I’ve always embraced pastel hues year-round, but they feel especially fitting right here at home. In a sea of holiday red and green, wintery neutrals, and all the dark colors that we find in stores most often this time of year, reaching for a blush coat, pink faux fur bag, or sky blue beanie feels like a breath of fresh air. Especially on the coldest, dreariest days, a choice as simple as opting for a pastel sweater, like this multicolor LoveShackFancy one, over a neutral one instantly lifts my mood.

Even in winter, I don’t hesitate to style pastels from head to toe. For example, a blush top and pants with a red lip or pink shoe has been one of my go-to looks this holiday season! If you don’t have the pieces in your closet for a true monochromatic look, try a cozy pastel sweater with light-wash or white jeans for a relaxed and feminine look. My love for the comfort and uniqueness of LoveShackFancy sweaters is evident in my growing collection, but I also love this blush pointelle sweater and this fair isle cardigan.

I also frequently opt for pastels when it comes to outerwear so that I can effortlessly put a delicate-looking spin on even the heaviest layers. I love these faux fur mittens and this blush jacket, to name a few! See below for more of my favorite pastel styles to wear this winter.

Pearl Headband

The soft dove gray hue and scattered pearls of this Lele Sadoughi headband make a glamorous statement to add to any winter look, from the holidays and beyond.

Drawstring Crossbody Bag

This mini version of the Mansur Gavriel Protea bag has a unique, slouchy silhouette that’s unlike anything else in my collection. Reach for it to complete all-blush looks or add a feminine pop of color to darker outfits.

Rainbow Ruffle Sweater

I couldn’t resist the classic shape, ruffle detail, and, most of all, the candy-colored knit of this LoveShackFancy sweater. It’s the perfect pastel piece to wear all the way until spring.
